In the Empty

An original, devised movement theatre piece, In the Empty, was developed as the season opener for Brandeis University’s Department of Theatre in the fall of 2021. Inspired by the resiliency and power of the natural world, this piece was begun as written text and explored by the student ensemble to craft a fully original work. Students contributed dance elements, written elements and explored numerous ways to devise together.
